Brothers and Sisters:
Grace, mercy and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ!
This letter serves to inform you of the events planned for Fall even as we continue to be challenged by the impact of the Corona virus. We are grateful to God for His abundant mercy and grace extended to us throughout this unprecedented time and we will stand firm in the faith. I believe God is using this time to mold and shape us for service in his kingdom. He is faithful to his promises.
The Theme for all the Fall events is: "Seeking the Gold in Trials" The supporting scripture: "But he knows the way we take; when he has tried me, I shall come forth as gold." (Job 23:10).
We still seek to remain a vital congregation and engage in those experiences that have always been part of our spiritual endeavors. As a result, the Revival Services, Men's Day Celebration and the Annual Anniversary service of thanksgiving and praise have been planned. Your involvement and support are required to ensure the success of each, whether you join in- person worship conducted in the sanctuary, or you participate online via ZOOM. Please note the dates and times of each event and commit to do the following:
Pray earnestly for God's anointing power to be experienced through these worship experiences.
Commit to attend all the services and participate as much as you are able.
Invite your family, friends, and neighbors to participate and so share the good news of salvation.
Contribute your usual special offering for the Men's day and for anniversary. We are asking for a special offering of $50 per person for Men's Day
Dates and times:
Revival Service. Wednesday, September 30, at 7:30 p.m. Guest Preacher: Rev. Dr. Alpha Sylvester.
Men's Day Celebration: Sunday, September 27, at 10:30 a.m. Guest Preacher: Brother Paul Nichols
Church Anniversary, Sunday, October 25, 2020 @ 10:30 a.m. Guest Preacher: Rev. Dr. Beverly Morris

I hope you were blessed and strengthened in your commitment to Christ through the message delivered by Rev. Dacosta at the revival service last Wednesday evening. I Hope you will take seriously the encouragement to stay committed to the one who remains faithful.
I urge you to continue spending much time in prayer for those who are suffering as well as for good decisions to be made by our church, our City and our Nation. Please make sure you register to vote so you can participate in the political process.
May the peace of Christ be yours.
