Building Bridges Within our Community

​    Highlights of Future Leaders include:

  • Getting Involved - Providing opportunities to participate in local projects.
  • Enhancing Socialization - Connecting with other youth programs and initiatives.
  • Incentives - Receiving information on the many complimentary services, access to cultural opportunities and benefits of being a youth in New York City.
  • Imparting Knowledge - Offering workshops and seminars that will expand their knowledge of the world around them.
  • Increasing Confidence - Providing job readiness training and practical experience in a variety of settings.

Our Mission

United Youth Future Leaders provides a safe space for youth to enhance their skills and create positive rapports through community building and programming. We seek to build a generation of youth leaders who promote respect, understanding and cooperation while working in the community to empower and invest time in community projects.

1. Fill out an application.

​(Minors under the age of 18 will need parental consent.)

2. Provide one written reference.

​3. Write a short essay up to 300 words. Please choose to answer one of the following essay questions:

  • What qualities in yourself do you want to develop, and are you willing to go beyond what you perceive to be your limitations?
  • Why is it important to volunteer your services in the community?
  • What are you really passionate about—and why?

4. Submit the application, reference and short essay to
